FAQ

How much are the procedures? Are there any ballpark prices?

The cost for treatment will depend upon these factors: the severity of the problem, the number of treatments needed and the type of treatment that will give you the best result. When you come to LDI, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation by our expert staff to determine the best and most cost effective treatment for your specific condition.

Does the Doctor do all of the treatments?

All of the treatments are done or supervised by the Doctor. Only trained and licensed medical professionals perform treatments.

How does the laser help acne?

The laser light is able to target just the area that needs to be treated. It is an easy, virtually painless, and effective way to treat active acne and acne scars. When you come for a consultation, our expert staff will explain the specifics of how lasers can remedy your particular skin condition. The results of the procedure are permanent. However, if you have active acne, you may require additional treatments in the future to manage any additional outbreaks.

Why are laser treatments better than other types of skin rejuvenation treatments?

Because they are less invasive than other types of treatments. For younger patients that do not need plastic surgery, laser surgery is easier, less painful, and there is no “down time.” For patients who cannot have plastic surgery for medical or other reasons, laser treatments are ideal because they do not require general anesthesia and patients can immediately return to work or daily schedules. Oftentimes, laser surgery will be used to augment plastic surgery to remove the effects of photo damage such as red and brown spots.

How many treatments will I need?

It will depend upon your condition. The doctor will evaluate your specific problem and recommend the best and most efficient way to resolve your problem.

Does medical insurance cover laser treatments?

In most cases, these treatments are considered cosmetic and are not covered by insurance.

Do you offer any payment plans?

Yes. There are payment plans available for qualifying individuals.
